Jamis Komodo 3.0 Frame 2007
The Komodo 3.0 frame features a stout oversized kinesis frame that makes this a great starting point for a strong and reliable freeride and all mountain hard tail. The Komodos is to bravely go where few hardtails have gone before, Jamis has liberally applied a “Golden Arches” design approach to the engineering of this bike. Meaning they have super-sized everything – from the massive 72mm ovalized down tube to the 31.8mm D-shaped chainstays to the 45mm ovalized top tube. And then they added reinforcing gussets and support struts to virtually every connecting pair of frame tubes to transfer loads between them. The limiting factor on a Komodo is not going to be the frame, it’s gonna be the pilot.
- 7005 triple gauge aluminum main tubes
- Double gusseted main tubes
- Heavy duty brace stays
- Replaceable derailleur hanger
